Reality has finally set in for the Tampa Bay Rays as they pulled the trigger on their prize phenom. Price will definitely be a huge difference maker for Detroit Tigers as he immediately puts the Tigers rotation as the best in baseball. The Tigers rotation will include Scherzer, Price, Verlander, Sanchez and Porcello. The odds of the Rays making the playoffs were beyond slim despite the recent surge winning 9 of their last 11 games. Tampa put up their white flag and traded Price despite having another year on his contract which brings to question will Max Scherzer be in a Tigers uniform next season? The Rays also acquire the Tigers' #4 prospect, shortstop, Willy Adames.
