Louisville Guard Kevin Ware Suffers Compound Fracture In Regional Finals

kevin Louisville guard Kevin Ware suffered what looked to be a Joe Thiesman compound fracture in the first half of the Cardinals' Midwest regional final against Duke on Sunday. All Ware was doing at the time was contesting a 3-point shot by Duke's Tyler Thornton; but when he landed on his right leg, it gave way and both Ware, and the Louisville bench knew instantly when they saw the tibia bone in his right leg appeared to be protruding from the skin. The game itself stopped for several moments and you can understand Louisville players were distraught about the situation. Ware asked to speak to his teammates and Pitino called them over. Then he was taken off the court on a stretcher and sent by ambulance to a local hospital.   Kevin Ware is from Atlanta, so he told Coach Pitino to win this game so he can go home!   WARNING: The video of Kevin Ware’s injury is gruesome.

Jose Calderon April Fools Himself By Going Toward The Wrong Locker Room.

Jose Calderon Oops, maybe Calderon is a little homesick.[/caption] Jose Calderon felt right at home Monday night in Toronto as he was making his way back to the Raptor's locker room. One problem, Jose is no longer a member of the Toronto Raptors, he now plays for the Detroit Pistons. As you can see in the video, he is walking with former teammates, giving Raptor's fans high fives, and showing a thumbs up on his way into the tunnel. Then it finally donned on him, with a camera in his face, he was going the wrong way. This would be a perfect Southwest Airlines commercial! Want to get away?   April Fools!

Jason Richardson Should Never Bet Again!

Philadelphia 76ers and former Michigan State Spartan's alumnus Jason Richardson lost a bet to Milwaukee Buck and former Duke standout J.J Redick over the weekend. Their former college teams played one another and by now you know the rest. Michigan State didn't seem to put up much of a fight by losing 71-61 in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA tournament. Richardson lost the bet and this is his punishment:

Not a bad look!

Oh, and before all of the Michigan State fans out there go nuts, don't worry. Richardson made sure to do this once he finally took the Duke gear off a little while ago: jrich2 JRich, that is better than sending it to dry cleaning!

(Video) Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Subtracts Big Bird

kareem abdul jabbarWe all know how much Kareem Abdul-Jabbar stresses education. The NBA Hall of Famer epitomizes the meaning of student-athlete as he is a proud UCLA alumnus. The 7'2" Jabbar made a special visit this past week on Sesame Street to see an old 8'2" friend name Big Bird! Kareem, who loves to teach, decided to educate Big Bird and his friends about SUBTRACTION.

Kareem has been retired close to 25 years now, I'm pretty sure he could substitute teach somewhere in the United States. Only problem he may encounter is if he teaches math, he may find himself without a children because of SUBTRACTION!
