He is the unsung hero for the National League West division leaders. Dodgers are 17 and 5 in their last 22 ballgames and leading the division by a half game. It all starts with the team's best player, Hanley Ramirez. On Thursday night he pulled a fast one on Cincinnati Reds Shin-Soo Choo. With Choo on first base and Joey Votto at the plate, Votto sends a ball softly to center field for a base hit. Choo makes it to second with the slide but for some reason he thought Hanley beat him to the bag . Watch what happens next. courtesy of mlb.com Complete meltdown! Don't you just love Vince Scully? Needless to say Shin-Soo was called out. Joey Votto tried yelling at Choo to stay at second but it was too late. Luckily the Reds won the game 5-2 and everyone can about it. Here is the tweet that involved the play.
