Video: Carl Crawford lands in the stands after making a tough catch

cc

Game 3 of the NLDS was all about LA Dodger left fielder Carl Crawford, who felt pretty good at the plate smacking a three-run shot in the second inning off of Atlanta Braves starter, Julio Teheran. Crawford enjoyed a two hit game while scoring three runs and three RBIs in an offensive explosion by the Dodgers. But in order to win a World Series, one must keep in mind that defense wins championships. In the top of the eighth inning, Braves catcher Brian McCann hit a fly ball down left-field line, Crawford was able to track it down making the tough catch in foul territory. Check out

As you can see, the ump was on point confirming the Crawford catch. When Crawford went tumbling into the stands there had to be a sigh of relief that he didn't get hurt in the process. Dodgers are already playing without the services of All-Star Matt Kemp and Andre Eithier and LA can ill-afford Carl Crawford getting hurt again with his injury prone self. Dodgers went on to win game three, 13-6 to take control of the series 2-1 in the best of five.
