thebiglead.comAfter the lackluster play by Yasiel Puig Monday night that allowed Angels' speedster Albert Pujols to advance to second base on a sacrifice fly in-game one of the freeway series, Puig had a chance to make amends in a tight game Wednesday night. His opportunity can against Hank Conger who figured to try his luck against the Dodger phenom. Conger had a pretty good jump running on a 3-2 pitch as David Freese single to center. Conger felt he had a chance to go first-to-third on Puig thinking the only a perfect throw would get him out. Well, if that's all it would take then let's see what happens! (via MLB.com)

Do you think Yasiel took Pujols mocking him to heart Monday night? It looked to me it at least woke him up. That was a key play in the game as it would have been first and third and one out. Dodgers went on to win a close one 2-1.-LeRoy McConnell III
