As Arod continues to recover from hip surgery his plans on returning to the big leagues may have gone SOUTH. Way SOUTH! According to multiple sources Major League Baseball will pursue the suspensions of at least 20 known ball players that have been linked to the Miami-based clinic Biogenesis. Alex Rodriguez and Ryan Braun are the biggest names targeted by MLB and according to ESPN baseball writers Mike Fish, T.J Quinn and Pedro Gomez:
One source familiar with the case said the commissioner's office might seek 100-game suspensions for Rodriguez, Braun and other players, the penalty for a second doping offense. The argument, the source said, is the players' connection to Bosch constitutes one offense, and previous statements to MLB officials denying any such connection or the use of PEDs constitute another.Outside the Lines has learned that MLB is preparing to suspend Alex Rodriguez, Ryan Braun and others connected to Biogenesis clinic in Miam

MLB to argue that A-Rod & Braun violated policy twice: once by dealing w Bosch, once when they lied to MLB about it. Players sure to fight. — T.J. Quinn (@TJQuinnESPN) June 5, 2013The reason for Alex Rodriguez and Ryan Braun's possible 100-game suspensions are because they have both been linked to P.E.Ds in the past. Rodriguez admitted as much to using back in 2001-2003 while playing for the Texas Rangers. Ryan Braun had a 50-game suspension overturned last year because of a mishandled a urine sample, a sample that was found positive for elevated testosterone.
