Trevor Plouffe's amazing catch Monday night was the only bright spot of the game as the Minnesota Twins took a 13 to nothing whoopin from division rival Kansas City Royals. The play came in the fourth inning when Alex Gordon hit a foul ball tailing off to the left side, heading into the third base dugout. Trevor Plouffe never took his eye off the ball and didn't give much thought of the rail in front of him. Take a look at Trevor's violent collision when he meets the rail:

Plouffe was okay after the catch and remained in the game. Mark it down, it will be the the #1 play of week.
