There is know better way to start the baseball season off more than bringing an old friend of both Chicago White Sox and Kansas City Royals to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at U.S. Cellular Field on Opening Day. That old friend is no other than Bo Vincent Jackson, who is one of the greatest two sport athlete of all-time. Jackson spent 4 season with KC (1986-1990) and 3 seasons with Chicago (1991-1993). Bo was a career .250BA, 141HR, 415RBIs in 8 seasons. Bo made a comeback with the White Sox after hip replacement from a football injury when he was a member of the Oakland Raiders back in 1991. Boy, what could have been, we glorify Deion Sanders as a two sport athlete, for those of you who never got the opportunity to see this man on the baseball diamond or football field. He never disappointed.
No one in the history of the game has broken a bat over their head. Amazing!
